The lobby was nice. Checkin was easyas I pre-checked. I was attending a concert nearby and the desk attendant was a little dismissive of my questions about getting to my venue. Not her expertise I know but I would’ve rather her saying she wasn’t sure than what I received. I go to my room and the first elevator is out. Cool, walk to the back of the hotel to catch the other. Room is good. Bed is nice and comfy. Bathroom needs considerable updating except the vanity which is small but nice. Floors and carpets throughout the hotel need cleaning. Air con is loud but cool and you can hear EVERYTHING in the hall and neighboring rooms. When returning to hotel late after my event the second elevator was out as well. There was no sign posted so I waited sometime before that realization. I was awakened at 6 am by the alarm preset by another visitor I’m sure but despite me dismissing it, it kept going off until I unplugged it. When I finally fell back asleep, I get a text from the hotel asking what time I was checking out. ATP I’m annoyed so I just shower and pack for my 4 hrs back home. Had to lug my bags down the stairs because the elevators were out again but checkout was easy.

I had a reservation to stay two nights. And ended up leaving the second night because I was uncomfortable. When I got to my room, the carpet was gross. The wall had dirt and stuff all over them. The remote for the tv was missing and the refrigerator was broken. The shower wouldn’t stop dripping. When I came out to my car in the morning, the vehicle beside mine had its window broken into. Saturday night while headed up to my room I witnessed a couple physically fighting each other and it just made the stay more uncomfortable so I left. The previous reviews must be old because this was my worst experience at a hotel ever. Especially for the price that I paid to stay here.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. When I arrived there was a woman at the front desk complaining bc her car had been one of 6 broken into the night before I was worried but had no issues that night when I stayed. The elevators weren’t working most of my stay which was a hassle when you’re staying in the fourth floor. Staff was very nice. For the price, I would stay again.

The pictures that we saw on the website originally are NOT FROM THE PROPERTY. It was vastly old and can tell. Has a bad smell in the hallway. Needs to be updated in all aspects, everything seemed dirty and looked dirty. You have to pay additional fees just to check in. The location is no ideal as it’s one of the heaviest traffic areas in the city. If we had to stay here for more than 10 hours we would have went somewhere else.

Terrible smell in hallway and room. Just unclean overall. When we were in bed under the stiff covers, I happened to look down at my forearm and noticed several bites… which appeared to be bug bites?? We inspected the bed, didn’t see anything. But the rest of the night was miserable. Not sure if it was in my head or actual constant bites, but the last 3 hours I stayed awake in a panic. Would never ever stay here again, even if they paid me to stay in their best room.

Adequate

It did the job for a quick, one-night stay. The bed was comfortable and seemed clean. On the downside, the lobby smelled like cleaning products. The room smelled kind of musty. The bathroom had mildew along the upper walls. Overall, the room really needed to be updated, refreshed. Also, there was a dog in the room next door, and its barking woke us up several times.

I don’t know where to start but I guess this is what I get for going cheap. The quality was just not there. I saw 3 cockroaches on separate nights. The appliances in the room do not work. It’s old and moldy. And I just couldn’t wait to get home. The house keeping took forever to get into my room. The toilet seat was broken. The main sink in the bathroom was clogged up so I had to wash my face in the shower. I heard my neighbors both beside and a floor above me - they were getting it on if you can read between the lines. Super loud and paper thin walls. Just an overall terrible experience. I do not recommend anyone coming here.

The worst experience ever!

If I could give this place negative stars I would.....I arrived at 3:30pm and was given a room, when I went to the room, it was completely unmade...no sheets on the beds, no towels, NOTHING. Back down stairs to get a different room, and then up to the second room, which was fine. I needed to call the front desk (about 4pm) and picked up the phone, which was completely disconnected from the wall and there was no phone cord insight. So back down to the front desk with the phone. The FD staff called Housekeeping and I was told that a phone would be brought up. 1 hour later when I had to leave for an appointment, no phone had arrived. When I returned at 10pm still no phone. The smoke detector in the room was not attached...there were just wires in a hole in the wall. The elevator had trash on the floor and the operations panel was in disrepair. I had to ask for milk at breakfast, and when the staff came out to restock, she was on her phone have a very loud conversation. When I checked out I asked to speak with the manager and was told that she would be in at 10...I said "no problem, I'll call her at 10:15", when I did , I was told she would be in at 11.. So at 11:15 I called back and was immediately put on hold for 17 minutes...when finally the front desk person answered and told me she was busy dealing with an issue and would call me back. I am currently waiting for a call back. The customer service at this place is awful.
