The place is clean and the breakfast buffet is great. However, on arrival we were told that rooms get serviced every three days. Ok, but we had 3 towels and one had a huge brown stain on it. The room safe rocked forward when I opened the door to it. It was then falling over. They had tried attaching it w drywall screws. So, we laid it down on its side and it was unusable. Kind of a hassle. We reported this but we did not have use of it for the 4 days. The shower shampoo dispenser was empty. Again, reported but none came. Its the little things. Clean place…. But zero customer service unfortunately.

Pretty Positive Stay

Hotel was clean and bedding was comfortable. The full breakfast and 24 HR coffee was a plus. The location was very convenient to UVA Hospital which was our destination. Only issue was the in-room fridge wasn't cold and there wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Overall, a good hotel.

The room wreaked of stale smoke and the floor was sticky. The hallway smelled like marijuana smoke. Overall it did the trick if a place to lay your head.

First, the good, the hotel was clean and breakfast was good. And now the bad, we booked a suite because we needed two separate sleeping areas and two TVs the TV in the first room, did not work when someone finally came up to look at it, her words were “it’s no big deal, the cold room with the staff because The TV in the other room works “. It was a big deal because we paid for two TVs. We were completely dismissed and when I asked if there was anyway, she could move us to a room that had a working TV. It was a flat and no claiming they were booked solid. The issue was never addressed again. And the thermostat in the room did not work. We nearly froze. Despite putting the thermostat on 80 the heat never came on, it blew cold air. We never bothered to ask about the thermostat, as we were completely dismissed over the TV issue. In my opinion the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful, which has never been an issue at any other country Inn and suites. We stayed at in the past, but it certainly was this time.

Next to Days Inn. We stayed for two days, and on both days, there was a police operation that led to an arrest in DaysInn and parking lot was between the two hotels. Our stay was quite uncomfortable due to noise from other rooms. Amenities were quite basic, I would say like a two star hotel
