There was a plenty of free parking close to the hotel. The hotel could do with some repairs and general tidy up, the overnight price was reasonable so not expecting perfection. Dining options are limited unless you book, we had quite a distance to travel so didn’t want to book and miss the slot. Breakfast service has a good choice but again it’s advisable to book, not quite sure how they cope in the summer months.
Booked Chessington Resort Hotel as we wanted an overnight stay with grandchildren. We found the staff helpful and friendly, the room quirky and well laid out (it was tiger themed), the pool area clean, and lots of choices for the buffet breakfast. Ideal - thank you!
A very clean and well presented property, excellent themeing and location to the park. Breakfast was excellent as were staff. The room was the let down, the bed was very hard and felt like the mattress was very old and worn. The pillows and duvet weren't much better. The bathroom was well worn and needs a refresh, shower was leaking, lots of rust and cracks and signs of wear.
Overall it was a mix of a high end hotel with Travelodge furnishings in the rooms. Only paid 70 with breakfast and animal view so I felt good value but I would not pay more that 90 a night.
ALSO the animals don't roam in the winter so the view is not worth it.
Nice hotel, stayed as a single traveller experience was ok.some of the staff seemed pre occupied & quite rude but hotel room balanced this out & would stay again but only for 1 night.

Parking was great I parked right outside the hotel. The park was very confusing quite a few attractions closed or animals like the tigers moved on to a zoo and we wasn’t told of this luckily a passing member of staff notified me after waiting some time. Very expensive for food and drinks costing me £40 for two hot dogs and a refill drink that didn’t allow me to refill?? Food was cold and not very nice . Staff were very rude slow service and just didn’t want to be there almost throwing the food snacks etc across the counter at customers whilst spraying cleaner fluid at each other joking around with not one thought for anyone else. Stage entertainment was first class and very entertaining my daughter loved it. I was very disappointed with the park . The hotel was nice my daughter enjoyed the treasure hunt and the evening entertainment . The staff on reception was not very helpful and again seemed as though they didn’t want to be there but all other staff at the hotel especially the pool and restaurant staff were very nice . I would visit again but I would take my own food and drinks , plan my way around the park better.
Lovely big room, fantastic breakfast and restaurant area with great views. Very convenient. However communication by staff could be improved to help guests get the best out of our stay. E.g, no one let us know about the early park access, that the splash pool was closed, about car parking etc.
The hotel/room is not worth the amount paid. They were understaffed. Check-in and luggage collection was a time taking process.
There was no telephone in the room to talk to reception. They had mentioned about a smart TV in the room, but even the remote control was not working. The lighting in the room was inadequate.
The hotel and restaurant staffs were no friendly.
