Stayed for a week, room was a nice suite. Nice kitchen area with pans and cooking utensils. Staff was friendly but really ignorant. I requested house keeping 4-5 times throughout my stay at around 3-5 pm even verified in person that my room was set to be cleaned throughout the week my room was only cleaned/replenished-with fresh towels and toilet paper twice.

We needed to check in a little early and staff was very accommodating. Room was spacious and very clean. Pool was perfect for a little family time. Many restaurants available in walking distance and we felt safe during our walk to Gino’s! A must while visiting Chicago.

Outstanding service at front desk, allowed early check-in which was great! Room was spacious and beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast had good selection, but was served on polystyrene plates and with pre-packaged plasticware....all to the landfill, so not eco-friendly, unfortunately. Some minor items missing or inadequate (only 2 washcloths, no dishcloth, missing dishes, silverware in kitchen), but overall, great stay!

If you are looking for a hotel close to dining and bar options, then this is the place for you. The field museum was only a couple of blocks away and the train was very close too.

Improvement is Dire!

I usually stay here during my trips to Chicago and have had generally pleasant experiences, but this was by far the worst. When I called to ask about early check-in, a staff member rudely told me to call back and hung up. Upon arrival, my room had a strong odor. I ended up buying air freshener myself for the duration of my week-long stay. Housekeeping is advertised as every other day, but I requested it just once—on Sunday. Despite confirming this multiple times, no one came. I had to go back and forth with staff just to get fresh linens and prove the room hadn’t been cleaned. After checkout, I realized I left my car key in the room. I was repeatedly told by management and security it would be shipped ASAP. Five days later, I had to hire a courier to pick it up from the hotel and drop it off at a UPS store two blocks away. While security was helpful, the front desk supervisor failed to communicate clearly. If I had been told upfront I needed to arrange shipping, I would have done so. Overall, improvement is needed across the board. I hope to update this review in the future based on a better experience.
