I've waited one week to ponder and possibly change my mind but no matter how I roll the dice cannot sugar coat the fact the food for breakfast is just factory canteen quality. COLD and soggy bacon stewing in liquid, baked beans "out of a can" taste. Pastries not fresh,shriveled/dried out and unappealing. Not enough to go around! The bread was basic supermarket quality. The fresh fruit, water melon was NOT fresh, looked days old. Travellers save your money, do not pre pay for your breakfast until you see what's on offer. Go to nearby cafes for 1 decent dish which will sustain you, visually and satiate your palate. The vegemite, peanut butter and other condiments were in large jars, unhygienic. As opposed to other hotels who offer clean, individual servings. The good news, management and staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Nice hotel close to downtown in Hobart. Plenty of accessable shopping and dining options to choose from. The hotel has a beautiful pool, 2 saunas, a gym and laundry facility.

The Ibis staff were friendly & welcoming. The room was small but comfortable, The bed & pillows were very comfortable, good hot shower with great water pressure. No mini bar but coffee facilities. There was noticeable scratches on the walls & a splash of ? Coffee or liquid near the bed which made a clean room overall, feel a bit dirty. The pool was lovely as was the sauna & the gym was good too. Close to plenty of food options and grocery store. Walking distance to many tourist attractions. Would stay here again.
