Terrible experience. When we arrived at our room, the toilet was spraying water out of the bowl onto the seat and the floor. We called the front desk to have them come fix it. A guy came and worked on it. As soon as he left the room, it sprayed again. We called back and when the guy came back to the room, he blamed us for messing with the toilet, which we hadn't even used. As he was leaving the room, he informed us that he wanted to quit, but the hotel wouldn't let him. After working on it a second time, the toilet continued to spray. We called the front desk a third time and the guy got on the phone and started yelling at my wife. The hotel refused to give us a new room. We had to deal with this issue the entire time we were there. When we contacted Sonesta, they refused to offer any type of a refund on the room. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. The customer service was horrible and there was absolutely no hospitality. Our ice maker didn't work, and there are no ice machines in this hotel. Additionally, there was no bedding provided for the pull out sofa, even though we informed them that our kids would be staying with us. After requesting the bedding, it took 45 minutes and a phone call to the front desk to get them delivered to our room. While this hotel is in a great location, and overall is a nice hotel, the customer service is awful!
