Parking wasn’t bad, you can drop off your things at the front and park in the garage and there’s access on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Cost was $30 per day and I recommend if you’re going on a weekend…. Just park your car in the ramp and Uber everywhere. Super convenient. Great Korean Bbq places in the area, easy walk to McCormick Place. The room was nice and clean and laid out well. Breakfast was above average for a hotel Make sure to bring earplugs or get them at the front desk as the Metra has many tracks nearby and it sounded like an airport at 4am Saturday morning, to be expected in Chinatown honestly. Would def stay here again and I’m a rather picky person :)

SpringHill Suites Chinatown is my go-to place to stay in Chicago. It’s super clean, the staff is excellent, there are lots of food options nearby, and the El is within walking distance. I’ve heard some people say that Chinatown is sketchy, but I’ve always felt very safe there—as long as you take the usual big city precautions. I’m a little disappointed that the flat parking lot a block away isn’t available anymore, but my understanding is that it’s a city issue. There is parking attached for $30 a night with in-and-out privileges, which is convenient and reasonably priced for Chicago. All in all, it’s a good stay. To get to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, or the Art Institute, it’s just one El stop and a 10-minute bus ride away.
