One of the best hotel we have stayed during our visit to New Zealand. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff is friendly. The hotel restaurant is best place for dinner and breakfast. They also extended our stay till noon with no charge. Walking distance to the terminal.

This is the first time we have ever stayed at an airport hotel and was a little worried after a very early morning arrival that the kids would get woken up by flights taking off etc, but nothing! The beds were amazingly comfortable, we all slept in as rooms were well sound proofed, breakfast with a beautiful view was amazing. Great way to start our holiday. Can’t wait to come back

Polite, helpful staff. Very clean room, with all the amenities one needs. Comfortable bed/mattress, but large pillows gave me a sore neck. Why do you not supply an option of a softer, flatter one?

This is definitely a great hotel to stay at! It’s very quiet—you wouldn’t even realize it’s close to the airport. Super convenient, everything is lovely, and the breakfast is also great.

As is generally the case in New Zealand, the staff is friendly. The hotel was overpriced (especially food and parking), and if you have a rental car, I'd suggest looking at the Sudima literally across the street. They have free parking and are right next to a large shopping center. If you don't have a car or are not into walking, this place might make sense. The restaurant is atrocious. The value is egregious, taste is bland, and the time it takes anything to be done (from food to drinks) is painstaking. The staff are all very friendly, but overwhelmingly ineffective if you're hoping to drink or eat in a reasonable amount of time. The value ia awful as well. You can't even see the burger within the bun. The fries were very good though at least. All in all, the Novotel is very convenient. This can't be discounted. However, if you're willing to walk down to the hotel on the next block, better value and access to food, groceries, etc can be had.

We had a morning flight and the hotel is just a minute's walk to airport. It is also within walking distance to international Antarctica centre, supermarket and eateries.
