The first day we got there it was hair inside the shower. I notified the front desk of the situation they assure me it would be taken care of got back to the hotel NOTHING I reported it again atill nothing

Passive aggressive staff

Very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, alll service personnel...front desk, cleaning staff, manager, and head of housekeeping, with the exception of the awesome maintainance operator were rude. They are all black except the maintainance worker who was Hispanic. I felt like it was because I'm white. It was very uncomfortable.

My daughter celebrated her 16th birthday and I could not have selected a better place to celebrate this momentous occasion. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The palms offer is the best in hospitality. Star who works at the front desk was very helpful and has a sweet personality. I am definitely booking reservations to return for another stay.

Fine for the price

This place is fine if you are using it as a base to explore the island. It is not a place to hang out and relax. My top floor ocean view room was great. The ac worked and the bed was comfortable. But the property is run down from prior hurricanes. But it 1/3 the cost of other properties so you get value.

We would not stay at this property again. We arrived at 5pm and our room was not ready. This was 2 hours after check in time. They moved us to a room that was ready, which we appreciated. But the air conditioner did not work. So after another hour wait we were moved to a different room. Once in the new room the toilet wouldn’t flush. My husband took the back off and fixed it. We didn’t want to have to pack back up and move again. The room was nothing crazy nice, it was fine. On our last day there we noticed there was mold on the A/C. The property is not very well maintained. The view off the patio is nothing like the pictures. We couldn’t swim or walk on the beach because of all the seaweed. We were just disappointed because the property was nothing like the description or pictures. It truly is a “ you get what you pay for” situation. I would suggest spending a little more and staying at a nicer hotel or resort.

Star was fantastic!!!! This is the only reason I’ve given stars. Other than her, negative!!! Property is in need of major renovations. Restaurant wasn’t open so I can’t comment on that. Water is coming from underneath the tile in room 1. Someone tried to come into our room in the middle of the night. Bugs everywhere. Smell was horrible. Pure disgust. We ended our stay.

Pretty location but very run down

The property is a great location but it is severely run down. Minimal employees, only one person running the bar and restaurant. Pool had an electric cord in the water running the light which seemed dangerous. It is a shame that such potential hasn’t been kept up

This was a beach front room. I’d love it. It was very quiet room. Room service was daily. I also love the pool are and the food was very good. The beach was awesome and the personnel very nice and friendly. Some nights there was a DJ with good music. I would definitely return.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Their hotel is a little dated and the restaurant wasn't always open because of staff shortages but when open the food was excellent. Nice and peaceful as well.
