Nothing was clean. The building itself looks so worn down, I thought I was at the wrong place. I thought Days Inn was supposed to be a good hotel. The lobby looked like they grabbed random furniture off a curb and brought it in to fill the lobby space. The hallway was dark and grody, and the floors creaked the whole way down the hall from the cracked wood floors. I just got done from a long car ride and had to use the bathroom, I go to the bathroom to find a half used roll of toilet paper that was wet just sitting on top of the towels, the toilet roll holder was broken and there was no extra toilet paper in there, i went to the front to ask for a new roll, which they literally keep the box right next to them (I'm assuming because they're used to this). The floor was absolutely disgusting (i literally took my socks off and threw them away because i didn't feel comfortable putting my feet back in my shoes after walking on that carpet). The chair had crumbs in it. The tub had stains in it. It smelled horrendous. After reading a recent review about bedbugs & roaches, I got so scared to sit down on the bed, every speck made my skill crawl. I was there max 15 minutes and went back to the front desk to give them my key, they didn't bother asking why, didn't even seem surprised, just took it and said "okay", I asked about a refund and was told to request it through the Expedia app and they're still waiting on a response from the hotel manager and it's been 3 days.

Would not recommend this property to anyone. There's peeling paint in the room, the furniture and the carpet needs to be replaced, the security clasp on the door was missing the mating hardware, the towel holder in the bathroom was rusty, the sink stopper didn't work, and the bathtub was dirty with trash in the drain. On the upside, the heater in the room worked well and there was hot water!

Room was so dirty and not clean. Everything was broken in the room. Had a mirror laying against window, headboard in a broken down closet, ceiling falling down, bathroom dirty and everything broken . Saw a roaches walking down hallways. Front desk was rude and didn't say anything but had to pay extra for check in before 4. Parking lots is nothing but pot holes. Rooms are just old furniture they put in rooms that is broken. This shouldn't even be a day's inn hotel. Seen road side hotels in better shape.

The worst hotel EVER!!!

It was awful! I was in the room 15 minutes and left with no refund and spent more money to stay somewhere at the last minute. There was Ramen noodles in the bathroom sink drain, a dresser drawer was slightly open, but would not shut or open, there were no towels in the room, the bed was lopsided and the one side when you sat on it went very close to floor level, there was no refrigerator as advertised on the site, major plaster damage on the ceiling. This by far was the WORST experience ever. I wouldnt let a rat stay there. For some reason the site is not allowing me to upload picture or i would.

Absolutely not.

So, I accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day, and I’m honestly glad I did, because it meant that I had to make alternative arrangements. When I drove up, I couldn’t believe how shabby the exterior looked, and then I noticed an officer peeking into parked cars with a flashlight. I joked that he wouldn’t find anything interesting in my car and he replied, “as long as I don’t see drugs, I don’t care what is in there.” We walked into the lobby and were immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of air freshener. The clerk sat behind a desk that was messy with piles of supplies and boxes and when she couldn’t find my reservation, she invited me to call for support rather than working with me. I can’t blame her, because one woman was bothering her to make coffee at 9:00 pm and another woman sat in the lobby on the phone and crying. I spoke with hotels.com and realized I had made a mistake with the dates, but I didn’t care—you couldn’t pay me to stay in a room at this hotel. The person I spoke with hung up and tried to talk with the hotel clerk, but she got up and made coffee and missed the call. I only saw the parking lot and the lobby, but it was dirty, dingy, and the paint job was atrocious (someone needs to get glasses or learn to use painter’s tape). It was not inviting and frankly, I don’t think it was safe. Hotels.com really should re-evaluate offering this property as a listing.

Never Ever Again…EVER!!!

I wasn’t expecting it to be a 5 star resort, but I also didn’t believe that I’d be staying in a hostel. There’s no way that we are in 2025 and this place is trapped in 1983. Especially when it is surrounded by million dollar homes and just steps away from Lake Erie. I’ve stayed in some sketchy places in my life and this place definitely ranks in the top ten. A complete renovation could make this a place worth visiting again

This place was terrible. Dirty tub floor. Room was ice cold. Wifi would not work in the room. The toilet paper was almost empty and dirty around the rim. Our sheets had a burn hole in them in a non smoking room. Left immediately but they informed me that I could not be refunded at that time. Waiting for the manager to respond to me. Haven’t heard anything and it’s been 24 hours now. Stay away from this place !!!
