A terrible beginning.

We should have been made aware that the hotel was under construction! I reserved a king bed and a handicapped bathroom. We got a double bed (just one) and the room was so tiny! They changed our room the following morning. I use a walker and our room was the last one down 2 incredibly long hallways! After they moved us, we were the first room off the the elevator (only 1 elevator worked in the entire hotel). I was very rude to the woman at the front desk the first day and went down to apologize to her. She was gracious enough to accept my apology. I wish I knew her name.

Our first room the toilet would not flush. So the staff moved us rooms, our second room one of the comforters had a pretty large brown stain, maybe 2ft long.

The staff at this hotel are great. They kept us informed and were polite the entire time. Check-in is rough, though. If you show up a little early, you're not getting in. I realize they are a busy hotel, but we'd been in the car for 7 hours and while the staff were very cordial, the policy seemed a bit too rigid. There was a point where plenty of guests were sitting in the lobby almost like at a doctor's appointment, waiting to be called for their room. Again, this isn't the fault of the staff. This is a policy issue. It's an older hotel that has clearly been repurposed. While they did renovate, there's a lot that could be updated to make it better. We had the misfortune of having a room across from the elevator and two doors away from an outside exit. At 5 am, the noise started. There's a noticeable gap under the door, so that noise is coming right in. The bathtub was resurfaced and it was like trying to balance on a ball -- the tub floor was warped and probably unsafe for those who are unsteady on their feet. The room was clean enough, comfortable, and the right temperature. Again, it gets high marks for the staff, but the rest could use some attention.

We did not have a problem with our stay. Staff was friendly and we were satisfied with our room. The only complaint I have is there was a stain or spot on one of the double bed covers. It was not a problem we slept in the othet bed.

Outdoor pool was closed down. Pool view room double beds is what we thought we were receiving had tons of over grown grass weeds and cigarette butts on patio. Shower would not drain. AC unit had no knobs and was covered in dust.

Check in took about an hour and the rooms were not cleaned at all. Stayed for a week and never got room service. All the doors to the building that said you needed a room key were all opened so security is an issue. Just wasn’t a pleasant experience

We have stayed at this location several times when it was a DoubleTree and had a great experience. When we arrived we waited in line for about 90 minutes before we were checked in. The hotel had run an online special and were swamped with bookings. Lysa at the front desk was amazing and I applaud her for keeping her cool. As far as the hotel goes, 2 out of 3 elevators were out of service, at 8:30pm there were mountains of dirty laundry stacked in the hallways, the room was musty, had no soap for the sink, the shampoo was empty, the A/C kept resetting to 83 degrees and the carpet looked like it was well past it's lifetime. Not sure we will try this hotel again. :-(

It took an hour to check in, 45 minutes into the wait, they tell me I have sign the waiting list. I get to my room an was getting ready for bed. I pulled the sheets back to find dried blood on them. The following morning I go for breakfast and come back. Pull the chair out to find food crumbs and grease on the chair.
