The staff was kind and friendly. Pool was awesome, great breakfast Each room had a small terrace with table and chairs and beautiful landscaping We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Old and rundown

The property is very rundown, very old furniture and when sitting on mattress you almost went thru the bed. The linens were good, towels good but shower head sprayed all over bathroom. We had two nights booked and left after first night. Courtyard around pool has no space to sit. Great location to beach and main strip but other then that I would not go back until updated.

Great location, very nice people

My wife and I are used to all inclusive type resorts, and recently have not been very happy with the experience. If you want a true taste of Costa Rica this is where to stay for an exceptionally great deal and walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The rooms are modest, but exceptionally clean. This is the last time we're gonna stand in an all inclusive buffet line of mediocre food and employees that hate you. This is our first time to Costa Rica and won't be the last.

Amazing stay, I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The staff was exceptional and friendly. The pool was well maintained and the beach was a short walk. Very close walking distance to food and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.

Old style charm!

Old school charm, right near the heartbeat of Coco. One block to the beach, one block to the party. This is no American Hotel, this is pure costa rica. I loved it!

Very Friendly and Cozy Stay

While Playa del Coco is not our favourite beach, the Toro Blanco is a very pleasant and friendly little resort-style hotel with a great outdoor setting and pool.

There was garbage on the street at the entrance. Garbage at the base of the sign. Garbage seems to be a real issue here. The first impression was terrible as there is a kitchen in front of the pool that resembles a hostel but the room was nice and functional. The breakfast was ok but this is not a resort. The pool is also dirty and the layout is very tight. I think it is overpriced for the area. It’s also very loud, music until 2 am. Not a great vibe!

Conveniently located in the center of village steps to coco beach. Couldn’t ask more from a location standpoint. Friendly staff, easy to communicate and ready to help. Facilities are a bit old and needs an upgrade, faucet was broken and spilling water sideways. Other than that, we had a awesome stay at this place

Perfect Christmas break

Lovely hotel, a block from the beach with a pool and breakfast provided. Room has cooking facilities which is a bonus with kids. Very friendly staff. Can borrow beach towels, snorkels, body boards, beach mats etc. highly recommend
