The property was clean and well cared-for.

Older roadside motel that was converted and updated to a nicer facility. Although the price was steep ($260) for just an overnight lodging, and the bathroom was very small, the shower was hot and strong with a seat. The room was spacious for a double, the beds were very comfortable, and the cosmetic features have all been updated, but it’s still old.

Great property, nice and clean

Great setting for our family! Lots of space for our family of 12 for games, relaxing and being together. Also wonderful sleep arrangements. Owners responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommended. FIVE STARS! We have already booked our next visit to this house!

Great house overall, really can't think of any complaints regarding layout, amenities, comfort, anything. Which is always what you hope for as "best case" when you book for a location. And what a location it is! We spent hours in the lake floating, snorkelling, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The bonfire pit overlooks the lake where we could hear loons calling, so cool! We are at Otis' nearby on Sugar Lake, and I have to say, it didn't seem nearly as blue as the mine pit did, so I'm very glad we ended up staying here. Host was responsive and easy to work with. We're thinking of making this a yearly trip!

Huge house with tons of charm and character. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked. Main room had so many things to keep us entertained when we weren’t on the water. Communication was easy and prompt.
