I recently stayed at the Hyatt at National Harbor and overall had a great experience. The hotel was extremely clean, which was one of the first things I noticed and appreciated. The room was well-kept, modern, and very comfortable.
One of the highlights of the stay was the incredible view absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. If you’re someone who values a room with a view, you won’t be disappointed here.
We also dined at the hotel restaurant, and I have to say—the crab dip was phenomenal. Creamy, flavorful, and perfect with a drink after a long day.
On the downside, the breakfast (which was $11) left much to be desired. The food was cold and lacked flavor definitely not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.
Unfortunately, during our visit, the lanternfly situation was really bad, which made it tough to enjoy the outdoor areas. Obviously, that’s not the hotel’s fault, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during warmer months.
All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, stunning views, and great restaurant but I’d skip the breakfast and check the season before planning too much outdoor time.
