The hotel and area is great. The only negative for us was the room just felt damp all the time. Needed a dehumidifier. The room also had the remaining smell of smoke even though its a no smoking hotel. Everything was great. Clean rooms and great area for golf and access to St Louis

Room smelled like a kennel

We were only there 1 night. We had an pet friendly room as we were traveling with our little dogs. The smell in the room was almost overpowering and it smelled like urine. They explained that it was an animal friendly room after all and they’d have to steam clean the carpets between guests to prevent that. We’ve stayed at other hotels in pet friendly rooms and they did not stink like that. We take potty pads in case of accidents, we are very careful to make sure our dogs are respectful of property.

Beds were too tall . 32 inches! My 4'9" wife could not get in the bed, even with the stool we travel with. (Staff said I should have requested a handicap room.) Staff gave us a taller stool, but it was filthy (even a dead cricket). I had to scrub it in the bath tub. Rugs in room and hallway looked dirty. Entrance nearest our room was broken, and no luggage cart was available. Bedside electric recepticals were loose and made sparks.
