Firstly, the staff are extremely hard working, and attentive. They are a credit to the hotel. Our room was a bit tired. Very odd that the light switches were situated behind your pillows, so we kept catching these in the night. Bathroom could do with a revamp. Grout all needs cleaning, sealant needs replacing. The limescale in the bottom of the toilet needs sorting out. I know this is beyond the hotel’s control, but the area is having a lot of construction work, and they started up at 6.30am every morning!!!

Would not recommend this hotel, whilst the location is convenient if travelling via train and for the cathedral, the hotel is very dated! So dated, there is no wifi and even photo data seems to have a black spot there. The hallways smelt of smoke. The photos of the property certainly seem like they are from a distant past.
