This hotel is very accessible, with tram station nearby. There is a supermarket and dm in one minute walk. Staff are lovely and helpful. I didn’t have breakfast there, it costs €16. Overall it’s a lovely hotel.

This was a lovely hotel and very good value for money. The staff were always very friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent - near the metro and the main shopping area. Only a couple of small niggles - no tea and coffee facilities in the room and it was slightly noisy at night time on Friday and Saturday. But that didn't detract from a very pleasant stay.

Such a wonderful welcoming to Cologne for Pride! Unfortunately, I stayed only one night.. The location was fantastic, the hospitality was warm, the room was lovely, and though I haven't tried the breakfast, it looked and smelled delicious. I sure hope to get back soon! Thank you Maison Hotel and staff!

Not ideal stay

Pros: - Great location in Cologne. - The bed was comfortable. Cons: - Front desk seemed annoyed that I rang the doorbell to come in, but there is no other way to get into the hotel as the front door is locked. He also yelled "Only German" because I only spoke English. If they want only German speaking guests, they should indicate this. - But there were bugs in the carpet, multiple types. - Left after the first night, and forfeited the second night that I had already paid for as I didn't trust that moving to another room would solve the bug issue as there is carpet throughout the hotel.

Cool but not really cool

A very cool vibe. But not very cool inside as there is no air conditioning. There is a hostel next door and also a bar, so with windows open it is exceedingly noisy. Also smokers congregate outside below the window. So tfor non smokers like us that’s a drag. no elevator either. The place is pretty hip and I might be tempted to stay there in the winter in a back room. ( ours was on the street).
