Roach Nightmare

We checked in at 2:30 AM as it is the halfway point of our trip. Staff was great already had paid online so no problem. However when we got to our first room there was live cockroaches on the furniture dead ones on the floor. My 3 year old had a plate with some food on it and within 3 mins there was 2 cockroaches crawling in her plate of food. Went to front desk again very nice and accommodating. There was only one room left a king with pull out couch on the top floor. We went to that room and the entire floor was a huge difference in cleanliness and decor also never seen one roach. However these rooms were like “suites” with jacuzzi tub. I am not sure if booking online they give you a crap room on purpose. However it was 6AM before we got our 2 5 month olds and toddler in a room feed cleaned and in bed. Very dissatisfied with Hilton.

The room was very dated and in horrible condition. AC made noise the entire night, mini fridge making a horrible noise in the middle of the night to the point I had to unplug it, bathtub stained, ironing board burnt. The carpet in the hallway of the 5th floor was filthy and stained.

Pros: This hotel is closed to some very nice eateries, most are in walking distance. Cons: House keeping didn’t check the bathroom, makes me wonder if they actually cleaned it. A wash (booty) cloth was left on the shower curtain. And the bath towel was tatter, to the point it needed to be pulled out of circulation. The a/c unit was loud and seemed to cut off to save energy.

Big inconvenience but overall great stay!

The only issue with this stay was only 1of 2 rooms was booked after paying for two rooms for our stay. The inconvenience of having to turn around a rebook a rook directly with the hotel after already booking and paying for the rooms in advance was very disappointing. However, outside of this inconvenience and having to spend extra money the overall stay at the hotel was great. Great staff, great rooms and an overall great hotel.
