As soon as you enter the room, you're greeted with black duct tape holding the floating floorboards together !!! You are a 1 minute walk to Hollywood Blvd walk of fame stars etc. The whole area is just filled with homeless people everywhere, but to be fair for the whole of our trip we saw it everywhere. Confronting if not used to it. Would not go out at night.Would hear noisy children in other rooms. But it was a 2 star hotel, so what do you expect right??

The motel was okay. Nothing great. The parking is horrible. They have limited parking spaces, and they charge $30 per day; you have to pay each day to get a parking pass, and you cannot pay in advance. The underground parking fills up, and then they valet park the rest of the cars in front of the other cars, so everyone is blocked in. Giant game of car Tetris, watching the valet move cars to let people out. There is a food delivery service advertised in the lobby, it has 1 restaurant that serves the hotel, so it's better to use any other option instead.

Clean rooms, and beds, only downside, beds aren’t secure so they move/slide around. Also the elevator took forever to come down multiple times throughout our stay. Other than that was a nice and comfortable experience. motel 6 has definitely stepped up their game

Pay for parking is 30 dollars a day. Was not expecting that so it added to my stay. Cleaning is every other day and apparently you have to be out of your room certain hours instead of relaxing. Staff was nice at least, but I would rather stay somewhere else where I do not have to pay my parking.

Location was perfect and i was surprised that it was quiet. Walking distance to shopping and eating options so that was a plus. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly but the building is a little old. I was a little nervous to see some unhoused people outside and being loud. Otherwise our stay was good. Paid $30 for parking and i wasn't aware. There was a sign that said as of June 4th there was a charge. We stayed after that date.

Great staff and location, but cars pay to stay too

You cannot beat the friendly staff; from reception, maids, and security guard in the parking garage. Everyone was helpful and attentive. The biggest downer for us was having to pay $30 per day to park at the hotel, on a first-come, first-served basis. We went to universal studios on the second day and worried all day at the park that we would not be able to park in the garage that night. There was no way we would park our car on the street with a number of homeless people wandering around the neighborhood. Fortunately, we had a spot when we returned. The location a block off Hollywood Blvd. was exceptional and we enjoyed visiting the area. I was a little concerned that our first floor window would not lock shut but I wedged a block against the window so it couldn’t be forced open without alarming anyone. (If I were more concerned I’d have let the staff know and moved us to a different room.) If I really wanted to spend more time on Hollywood Boulevard or were going to the Pantages theater, I’d consider going back for the overall price. (But probably won’t). 5 stars for the staff. 3 stars for the property itself. Maybe 3 stars for the area around the hotel if I walked alone after dark. 5 stars for location.

The staff were friendly and it’s just off the boulevard so it’s easy to get around. It’s still good value for money. Nothing fancy! There are some funny characters outside the hotel but I guess that’s to be expected considering the location.
