What a beautiful property, the City Mills Hotel is a charming boutique hotel right on Chattahoochee River with a wonderful on site restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, utilizing elements of the former mill as part of the decor. Welcomed by the most charming hostess and walked to the elevator and given information about breakfast and other amenities. Delicious City Mills Kitchen restaurant, the food was delicious and the drinks were great! When I'm back in Columbus I will definitely book here again, it is truly a destination. Oh, the multi mile riverwalk is really a treat for running or just walking.

Beautiful old property

Restaurant was great with friendly servers. Room with a view of the river ended up being an obstructed view which was a little disappointing. The room was very comfortable. I don’t drink espresso and that was the coffee maker in the room. Overall it was a very nice stay in a very unique property. Would recommend.

Bike trip to Columbus

We visited Columbus, Ga to ride the river trail. This hotel is directly on the trail so that was convenient. The hotel is a beautifully renovated old building. Our room was lovely, bed was comfortable and shower was awesome. The woman that check us in was wonderful, and gave us a little tour of the hotel. I don’t think I’ve ever had a hotel staff member come out from behind a desk to show us where to find everything.There is a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was delicious and waitstaff was friendly and told us about the Columbus area.

Great Weekend Getaway

Hotel was very nice!! It had a perfect blend of cool vibe from being an 1800s mill, but, was extremely modern and very clean! Our room had a view of the river, the shower pressure was amazing, and the bed was very comfortable! Love the touches of the old mill in the check-in area. My wife and I enjoy walking around new cities and the riverwalk gave us a nice, 1 mile walk to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The river is on one side and the riverwalk is a nice, paved area with walkers, runners, and cyclists. We walked to dinner at night and walked out for coffee the next morning! Would definitely recommend and we look forward to going back and staying here again!!

This hotel is amazing!!! The staff is top notch, so friendly and so accommodating. They went way above and beyond for us. The river view is perfect. The thought that went into converting this old mill into the hotel is fantastic!!! Do not hesitate to stay here. We will be back for sure.

Perfect!

Absolutely wonderful experience. The building and grounds are beautiful and well preserved. Breakfast was included and had everything we hoped for. We had a corner room with a river view and it was such a pleasant experience to wake up to such an awesome view. The hotel is located right on the river walk which was very convenient for morning and evening walks/jogs. I also loved its location because it was just outside of all of the noisy parts of the river walk where all of the tourists were. Will definitely stay here again and again.
