I wish all staff at a hotel were as good as this place. BIG shoutout to Cecelia who not only was always cheerful and helpful but she brings our emergency delivery right to our hotel door. Definitely recommend !

Quaint, Cozy, and Sophisticated

I loved my stay at Hotel Kong Arthur. The rooms were spotless, the staff was warm and helpful, and the location was perfect—central yet peaceful. Thoughtful touches like Cozy Hour, easy bike rentals, free yoga with Iris, and spa specials made the experience feel personal and relaxing. There’s a real sense of community here. I’d happily return!

Nice hotel in Copenhagen

Only stayed one night as we came to Copenhagen to board a cruise in late July. Was surprised when we arrived and found the hotel had no air conditioning. In hindsight, should have asked when i booked it, but they made no mention of it either. The room, while nice and clean, was stuffy due to the excessively warm weather. The room had a small fan, but it had little effect. That being said, it is a very nice hotel with modern amenities.

The hotel is in a lovely area, very walkable with a beautiful lobby and courtyard. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a very spacious room and everything was clean and comfortable. The hotel did seem to be a bit of a maze with different staircases and elevators and even though we don’t have accessibility issues, it was a bit tricky getting our luggage around. I think this can be common in Europe and not a major issue but just mentioning for those who might have accessibility issues.

Quick trip, excellent stay

This hotel was excellently located and extremely wonderful. The staff was very very helpful and the room was well appointed . Reminder for US travelers that there is no AC but open windows and the provided fan made it comfortable. 10/10 would stay again

Lovely stay for a long weekend

Me and my partner stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is great. Modern and elegant, the courtyards were perfect for relaxing and regrouping after being out wandering Copenhagen all day. Superior room is spacious, and comfortable. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Location is great, couple of minutes away from Norreport with excellent public transport access as we travelled on the metro a lot. 10-15 min walk away from the centre and attractions. Bear in mind there is no Aircon in the hotel, and we were staying during July '25s heatwave so the room was boiling, and above a courtyard so it was loud and noisy when trying to sleep with windows open. The room comes with a powerful fan that made a big difference cooking the room and it also drowned out the courtyard noise with the windows open so it wasn't an issue for us, but something for you to be aware of.

A reasonable hotel, but it was hot and we had no air conditioning. Windows were high so we had to climb on the bed to reach them. The fan supplied was so loud, it was difficult to sleep. Our room needed some decoration as the walls were scuffed. We had a light over the bed that didn’t work so this needs to be checked before each guest stays. The coffee was the cheap, sacheted variety - we would expect a machine in this type of property. It was also not topped up by the cleaning staff. Considering we booked the hotel months ago, we would have expected a better room. Overall, the room was a good size and the reception staff were very professional. It’s also a fantastic location for the market and Norreport metro (direct to the airport).

Magnificent stay.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Kong Arthur. It was a stop before boarding a cruise. The location was ideal and everything was only a short walk from the Hotel. The staff were very accommodating and we were always greeted with a smile and hello. The cozy hour was a highlight of the day. I cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough and will be my first choice should we return to Copenhagen.

Roomy and great location

Really enjoyed this hotel. Location is excellent to shops, eating places and nearby lake. Room was very large and quiet with comfortable bed. Wet bathroom was less attractive as water everywhere after a shower but maybe we are just not used to that, very awkward to shower comfortably. Loved the happy hour from 5-6pm. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant.
