The Hotel Maritime is a no frills hotel that is conveniently located between major attractions and public transport hubs while also being in a quieter area of Nyhavn. Rooms were clean and cozy. Few amenities were provided (hairdryer, soap, shampoo, towels). The hotel was fit for my purpose and travel style and I enjoyed my stay there. Note that the room does not come with a kettle, mini fridge. Daily housekeeping is not included.

No one works the desk between midnight and 7am, so if you show up early to check-in you will need to wait outside. During these hours, the elevator (which maxes out at 1 person), is also out of order, so if you are leaving early and have luggage you will need to carry it downstairs on your own. Very basic rooms and linens, a true budget hotel. Area is good and easy to get to/around, so if you're just looking for a place to sleep, this is fine.

We stayed in the penthouse suite - very nice rooms beds couch balcony and eating area . Nice bathroom/shower too. I was happy to find a fridge, coffee maker and a very nice breakfast downstairs. The staff lent us an electric kettle too which made our stay extra cozy. The only complaint is the early morning work next door in a adjacent room and across the street. It made it hard to sleep past 8 am. Still I would happily go back and they will probably have the work done soon.

The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We checked in around 11 pm after a long day of traveling, hoping for a good night's sleep, but other guests entered the building throughout the night, talking loudly in the hallway even at 2 and 4 am. Then very loud construction noise started right outside our window at 6 am. It was a lot of money to pay for very little sleep.

Copenhagen comforts in the Maritime

Great boutique hotel and free fruit! Also the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a bit cosy but for a three day trip was good enough.

close by for Nyhaven and the metro if you dont/cant walk large distances, easy link to airport with comfy beds, no TV or hat drink facility in the room but that didnt bother us. lovely bar and breakfast room in reception would definately stay again

We had the best stay at hotel maritime! All of the staff were incredibly nice and helped us with any questions we had. The room was spacious, clean, and smelled amazing! Also, the biggest perk was that this hotel is within walking distance of some of the cities greatest sights like Nyhavn. The closest metro station was about a 5 minute walk away as well. The area the hotel is in was super safe and I always felt at ease walking around (even at night). If you are considering Copenhagen, consider Hotel Maritime!

Great location

Nicely designed boutique hotel in a great location for Nyhavn and canals. Common space was comfortable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The only glitch was the dark wallpaper in the room would show stains in certain light. Also, there was a pair of underwear behind a chair in our room.

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from Nyhavn. Check in is at 3pm but they were kind enough to let you drop off your luggage early. There are no amenities in the room (fridge, microwave coffee maker, TV) and the walls are thin so you hear everything. The drain in my shower was slow so it collected dirt which was disgusting as they don't clean your rooms everyday. They also turn off the elevators from midnight to 7am, so if you have an early flight in the morning, and depending on what floor your room is on, be prepared to struggle down flights of stairs with your heavy luggage. It is convenient though in some measures. It's a 20 minute cab ride from the airport. I personally wouldn't recommend the hotel if comfort is important to you.
