Generally of a high standard but what is awful about this hotel are the very noisy drunks outside and the Mexican restaurant next door. On our last night, Friday 1st to Saturday 2nd August , the music was very, very loud and it did not stop until 3am - (on the dot) . We were unable to get any sleep- and this was in a top-of-the-range, executive room. I would not recommend a stay at this hotel until this situation is sorted out by the hotel management

Disappointing stay due to homeless shelter

Check in was online and easy. Welcome from the manager at reception was nice and friendly. Triple room was spacious and clean and had good amenities. We only made breakfast once out of 3 nights, due to my next comment, and it was really good selection and worth the steep cost. Unfortunately we were at the side of the hotel from the river which has a homeless facility. Every night there would be a large group shouting and swearing trying to get medication or a bed for the night. Mental health issues banging heads against walls and fighting with each other. This was on and off throughout the early hours and even with the windows fully shut, it woke us numerous times. Garda attended a few times but they didnt move them on. This unfortunately made our stay unbearable with the noise and we didnt get much rest. I would not stay here again or recommend it due to this, especially as the cost of the hotel was expensive per night. Such a shame as this could of been a really nice stay. I informed the hotel who offered a free coffee but not much they could do unfortunately

Very good….room for improvement

Very enjoyable one night stay. At check in Emma was very kind and helpful in getting us a room that suited us…. this was a great start. We were very happy with our room. Breakfast was very good and there was a lovely lady who gave us a table that we liked. The cooked breakfast was good but for a person not having a hot meal, the fruit was disappointing. Also the orange juice was awful and the brown bread was stale

Great Location&Staff—but interior courtyard rooms

Great hotel and staff. The only drawback was a courtyard interior facing room on a corner by a walkway…limited privacy and I missed fresh air during a 4 nite stay. Great location so would stay again but exterior.

Proximity to everything! Great staff. Lovely hotel and room size for 3 people. It made us all feel safe and secure at night with the doorman/security staff.
