Could have had the pool water a lot warmer. It was very cold and could not go swimming with the kids because water was very very cold. Kids didn’t even want to swim.

We checked into our room and heard mice. There was a sticky trap in the closet with a live mouse on it. And then we found another sticky trap next to the refrigerator with two more live mice. I refused to stay there and the employee working at the front desk had no contact for a manager so we could try and resolve this issue. Overall the whole experience was horrible. We ended up having to pay for a room at a different hotel. So I paid for two different rooms and would sure like to think I could get refunded for my stay at best western and possibly pay for the room we rented where we ended up staying. If someone would like to contact me 641-745-0953. I would greatly appreciate it.

Staff was friendly. Bathroom floor in room had not been swept well. Had to go to the front desk on a daily basis to reactivate room card keys, which was a bit inconvenient.

We stayed and the pillow and beds smelled of smoke. We left a watch and called right after we left. The worker went and got it and put it in the safe. When we went back to get it, it had disappeared from the safe. Would NEVER stay at this hotel again.

checkin was easy and people are very thoughtful and helpful. The pool was cold and the hot tub was great, a very enthusiastic hot tub; my back feels so much better after the water massage!

The hotel was clean and staff was welcoming. It was near the airport with a free shuttle. It did take a while for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport, but you could schedule it back to the airport so that was nice. The rooms were a bit loud, but they were comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast was adequate and it started at 4 which was earlier than advertised and nice since we were actually leaving for the airport shortly after that.
