I took my time on where to stay while visiting Halifax. The stay at Chateau Bedford was great. The rooms were clean and spacious and the morning breakfast was spot on. Definitely will stay again.

We loved our stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Staff is very helpful and nice. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I will definitely come again because of the staff and the quality of the rooms and if it is for short stay. Areas where I think some improvement can be made: Different choices in breakfast on different days would be great. May be at-least one choice for vegetarians will be great. It was hard to eat hash browns for all 3 days. They should also try to make their card activation/deactivation system a bit better. We were going to check out at 11 and our cards stopped working at 9am. It feels like the system wants to kick you out as soon as possible :)

For the price, I was expecting it to be super nice....I was disappointed. It is clean and there's lots to do in the area but I would only stay here again if I couldn't find another hotel available. Overall it is a nice hotel but I've definitely stayed in nicer places that cost alot less. The area is pretty safe and the parking lot is huge.
