My family really enjoyed our stay. Baxter restaurant had wonderful food! Our room was spacious and clean. We would book again and recommend this place as a family friendly stay with a fun little waterpark.

They were out of almost everything for breakfsst other than some cereal and not much else. The was no "breakfast" to speak of and that's one of the main reasons why I paid to stay there. No hair dryer in the room, the furniture was old and very very worn out appearing. The TV came with two remotes and the one you thought would work didn't and the other one was impossible to figure out to the point I was only able to get one channel that was nothing but news. Large cigarette burn in the bathroom countertop and the luggage rack was all rusted to the point I was afraid to put my suitcase on it. Overall the bed was the best part. It was comfy. The rest was average or below. Staff was very friendly but I was in a big hurry to get to an event on time and she wouldn't stop talking about personal matters that had nothing to do with why I was staying at the hotel.

This place is amazing! The people are wonderful, like family actually. The property is clean and cozy. And it’s the perfect place to bring your family or just relax for two like we did. Best staycation ever!

Great service and accommodation

Wi-fi internet did not work, room was very clean. Staff was friendly but my first rewards card didn't work and I didn't get my 10 dollars free play.

The Grand View Lodge website needs to be updated with what amenities will be available for what dates. We had expected to have lots of options avaliable to us during our stay for spring break, but there was only one pool open, two restaurants, no ice rink, no snowshoeing, no skiing, no sledding, and limited hours for the things that were open. The food at the pub was greasy and overpriced, the menus were inaccurate, and the pizza tasted like cardboard. And 12 year olds are considered "adults". I booked a couples massage for myself and my husband at Glacial Waters Spa and it was the worst massage experience of my life, especially for the price. My husband expressed similar sentiments as well. I notified the front desk of our disappointing experience. They had me fill out a comment card and they also emailed a manager because they said one was not avaliable for me to speak with at the time. The staff person said a manager would call me. It's been four days and no one has contacted me. Additionally, I was forced to pay full price for my husband's massage, and was only given 20% off my massage. The total cost was still almost $400. My massage therapist could have been any Joe off the street; she lacked basic massage skills, was noisy, chaotic, and did not actually massage my muscles but instead applied about 100 layers of lotion, which caused the sheets to stick to my body. I would like a full refund for this experience being a total waste of my time and my husband's time.
