Arrived on Sunday Evening at 4.10 pm and there was a huge queue for check in . Eventually got to the top of the queue and started the check in process . However the room was not ready at 4.40 pm . Check in is 3 o clock . I was told to wait and that I was now being prioritised and that the room would be ready with the next 30 minutes and to expect a call . After 30m I went back up to reception and still no room . Eventually a manager I presume gave us keys to the Tower section of the hotel and I was told it was an upgrade .
No explanation or apology was given rather I was simply told that it was busy . Several other people in the queue had similar experiences.
The room itself was good except for the net curtains need replacing as they had a huge hole in it and was discoloured . Pool and sauna was adequate while the gym is excellent. Breakfast was hot and good quality , plates were small and need to be sized up . Fresh fruit and meats were plentiful however sourcing a bowl or place was difficult. Hotel is central and shopping centre beside it . Free parking was a nice touch and the staff in the restaurants and bars were friendly.
