My room was O.K. But the floor was a bit dirty (with stuff stuck on the tiles) and just unclean along the baseboards. Would've been nice to have a box of tissues in the room. The fridge in my room (#132) badly needed to be defrosted. One of the reasons that I stayed in this motel was because it was advertised as "Dog friendly". I think that that term should go beyond merely allowing dogs and charging for them. This particular motel did not have a place to walk my dog on grass; it's all pavement, gravel, rocks, and cement sidewalks. More "poop-bag stations" please! More places to dispose of used bags, too. Another outdoor issue: a large pigeon evidently took up living on the ground in a corner by an exterior door. There was a huge deposit of bird poop that had accumulated there and was never cleaned up in the 4 days/nights I stayed there. On the good side of things: Evey one of the employees that I encountered was friendly and professional toward me. Nice folks!

The shower water was Cold. Not hardly any towels. Room ok bed not comfortable at all. All this has going for it is the price. Its close to downtown. Not a bad area to stay in although some sketchy people staying there. Hard to find the front door.

Good dining options around. Room was okay. The laminated floor in the room helped because the carpets outside at the lobby and corridor were not good — triggered my allergies. Staff were very nice though. most of the people I’ve met in Colorado are nice.
