Room seemed clean but had incomplete inspection. Thermostat did not work. Set on 60 & we were hot. Previous occupant left drinks in fridge & belt draped over chair. Could not set temp on fridge either (not chilled).no shampoo Partial roll of TP & no extra. Breakfast was good.

This hotel is located in a quiet and safe area. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast has good options and they kept it well stocked. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel in short notice because we had a training in the Ankeny area and we were traveling during bad weather. Due to the bad weather we were not going to be able to make it to Ankeny. I contacted Expedia to see if the hotel would be nice enough to refund our money because we couldn't make it and I did not do the trip insurance. The hotel declined to give our money back. I know some of this is on me but due to the circumstances I just don't know how people don't have the heart to help people out. If I own this business there's no way I would feel good about laying my head down at night knowing the fact I just screwed somebody.
