Gunma Prefecture ski resorts

I booked this hotel because it fit what I needed: a good location, a proper bed, and a reasonable price. It ended up exceeding my expectations. The room was larger than I expected, comfortable, and very well designed. The bed was good, I had enough space to relax, and the overall quality of the room made it somewhere I was genuinely happy to return to after a long day. The biggest strength was the view. The view from my room was breathtaking and is one of the main reasons I am leaning toward staying here again. For me, a hotel is not just somewhere to leave luggage and sleep; it can also become part of the travel experience. There were two downsides. Staffing was minimal, which may matter if you prefer more traditional hotel service. The hotel was also uphill from the town centre. After all the walking and travelling I had already been doing, I was breathing heavily by the time I reached it. Despite that, the room quality and especially the view outweighed the inconvenience for me. I would seriously consider staying here again.

This is a beautiful property. Gorgeous golf course and Mountain View’s everywhere along the Kiso Road. Buffet breakfast and dinner were presented visually interesting and delicious. Staff pleasant and professional. We will stay at an IHG hotel again.

Great hotel, with very attentive staff, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself very clean and comfortable.

The food is delicious and very varied. And the onsen bath was fantastic. They have access to a spring that makes your skin feel soft like cotton. Truly a lovely experience
