Clean room and courteous service from the front desk. Very nice! Two qualms: there was minimal insulation between our room and the outside/hallway/adjacent room, so we could constantly hear people talking and sirens outside of our room. This is also one of those hotels that programmed its thermostat to not allow the fan to run all the time, so we had no way to mask the sound effectively. Otherwise, nice clean place

The hotel is very new, but starting to show signs of deterioration. We were assigned one room when we arrived and had to change due to poor cleaning. Check lower area inside of shower door room 415 signs of rust and looks like mold. Lastly, why is the breakfast so much different than the Holiday Inn Express right across from the Avid. The Avid breakfast lacks the variety you get at the HIE
