During my recent stay, I encountered several issues that impacted my overall experience. The room assigned to me had a toilet that ran continuously and a television that was not functional. I brought these concerns to the attention of the staff and requested a room change. Unfortunately, I was informed that no alternative was available and was told I could choose to stay elsewhere. What was most disappointing was the lack of any apology or acknowledgment from the staff regarding the inconvenience. Given this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this property to others seeking a comfortable and customer-focused stay.

The staff were very curt and seemed annoyed that we were there. My room wasn't very clean (filthy bathroom mirror, fingerprints on the lamps and doors, debris on the carpet. Everything felt aged and looked worn. The bed was okay, but could have been much more comfortable. The picture quality on the TV was terrible and there were limited channels to choose from. The elevator doors were covered with hand and finger prints, as were all of the hotel doors...gross! I watched one of the staff members filling the coffee station items and he touched about every possible surface on the coffee stirrers, which was also gross. As a woman traveling alone, I was dismayed that they put me in an adjoining room (without letting me know), it was very loud and there was a lot of traffic in the hallway, and I didn't feel entirely safe. I don't recommend this hotel if you want polite staff, cleanliness, and a good night's sleep.

Just a overnight, checking in was fast and easy. Only issue is it needs renovations. Carpet old with old stains, room was clean and bed was comfortable... just outdated and worn down. Price was good though.

The tv didn’t work, the lights in the room didn’t work, the shower head leaked all night, the bed sheets were torn (I have pictures), there was a 6 inch metal piece of the bed frame that stuck out which I hit with my shin (I have pictures), no hand soap at the sink only a shampoo bottle. Really disappointed considering the name of the hotel used to be a good name. I won’t stay there again.

This is a bare bones airport hotel. Basic but comfortable room, with good water pressure in the shower. Check-in worker seemed bored out of his mind and was just going through the motions. The on-site restaurant/pub was closed during dinner hours. So we had to take a short walk to find a place. The free airport shuttle is a nice touch. It does not run as frequently as some of the others, but we made it work. The coffee in the lobby was thick like sludge and undrinkable. There were no stirrers.

This property is dirty, nothing like the picture. They did not offer breakfast. There were flies coming out of the vent in the bathroom. The shower did not work properly and the knob was being held together with nails. The bed had two dangerous metal pieces coming out from the mattress that could have seriously injured me and punctured my skin if I had not seen it before hand. I would never stay here again. It’s dark and dreary. Not clean at all. The staff is there but most of the time the front desk is not manned by anyone and you have to search for the person that takes his time to return and provide assistance.

Truly amazing

Ok the one (and only!) bad thing first: the shuttle to the airport is not free. It’s $35 usd. This place is gorgeous. The neighborhood was a bit worrisome but once you figure out downtown is only a mile away, the walk is worth it- and no one was aggressive with us. I even walked by myself several times with no issues (f 34yr). The bar and restaurant staff are so accommodating and the food is delicious.

I thought a Raddison would be a nice stay. The only thing good about it was that it was close to the airport. Our first room had open food left in the room and dirty dust ruffle. We were concerned for what that meant for the sheets. Our second room was not much better. Went to use the shower and the tub immediately filled up with the drain open. The towels had hair on them. The walls and most other surfaces had mysterious spots on them. Would not stay again.

When I arrived at DTW I called 5 times to get the shuttle, no answer on the front desk. I paid a shuttle driver from a competitor $10 to drop me. I choose the hotel because they allowed 2 hour earlier arrivals, I arrived 2:15 minutes before check-in the receptionist demands a $30 fee, which I decline. Then 15 mins later they offer me a room. Ok, get in the room, unpack then go about my business. At 9pm I return TV is not working, I call the front desk and told gjve them a few to send someone, 11pm I call again, no one came. I went to sleep, got up the next morning and left. I won't be staying here again. The property is dilapidated, run-down and worn, the staffing is sub-standard, Pass on this one.
