Check-in at MotorCity Casino was smooth and efficient, which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. When it came time for bed, we discovered that both beds in our room were stained and visibly dirty. It was extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this caliber. We called the front desk, and instead of resolving the issue properly, we were told by the night manager that there was only one housekeeper available for 400 rooms. That explanation was not only hard to believe but felt like a dismissal of our concern. The "solution" provided? A bag of sheets was dropped at our door—as if we were housekeeping staff expected to fix the problem ourselves. This was beyond frustrating. A meager $50 food and drink credit was offered, which we declined. We were checking out at 8 AM, and frankly, we had no interest in eating food from a place that couldn’t provide clean beds. When we tried to raise our concerns further, we encountered an aggressive manager named Sam who did not make the situation any better. Instead of taking real accountability, the staff seemed more interested in minimizing the issue than making things right. This was my first time in Detroit, and everything else during the trip was enjoyable—except for this stay. It’s unfortunate that what should have been a relaxing night turned into such a frustrating and unsanitary experience. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and makes s

I will only be booking at this hotel for any more trips to Detroit!!! I appreciated the hotel having a parking garage. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel offered a shuttle to and back from my venue. The room was spacious and i loved the seperate tub and shower. I was also able to get a hot meal after my event which definitely put the icing on the whole evening. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos to your hotel.
