Not a fan. No room service. In a food desert…if you want food you have to walk through a smoky casino and the food is terrible. Only breakfast was Dunkin’ Donuts.

Charging a $27 “resort fee” is criminal. The only amenity is 2 bottles of water and indoor parking - no pool, no spa, no room service after 9:00 pm. Why call it that? Yes I knew there was a resort fee before I booked, which made me assume there were resort amenities that are actually at resorts??

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. My issues are with the front desk. I called to inform them that we were out of toilet paper and needed fresh towels and wash cloths. We waited for 5 hours and never received them. We were forced to use the room kleenex to wipe ourselves. I called back down to request more and never received them. This is unacceptable.

Room was nice and the staff were all very friendly. The entire hotel and even our room on the 24th floor had a faint smell of smoke from the casino, for this reason I probably wouldn’t stay again but if you’re not sensitive to smells, this was a nice hotel m, especially for the price to others in the downtown area.

The staff here is wonderful. Literally every employee with encountered is top tier. The amenities were only ok, though. The room was decent, but the beds had dirty stained linens. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable and the room temp was horribly high at night. We could not adjust the temperature. Our bathroom shower had a loose handle, and the shower was dirty. The lack of cleanliness got to me. The kicker was the elevator. Only 2 of the 4 were working. When it came time to leave. We waited 19 minutes on the second floor and only one elevator came that was going down. It was full of people with no room. We had to go up all the way to floor 30 to be able to get to floor 1. Our elevator stopped at every floor, and every floor had angry people waiting to go down. The location of this hotel is great, and like I said above, the staff is fantastic. We just wouldn’t stay here again due to the cleanliness of the room, the lack of adequate elevators, and the uncomfortableness of the room in general.

Room and bathroom were great. It did have a steamer that was not working and when asked for a new one did not receive one. Elevators were down to only one useable elevator. We waited 20 minutes or longer to get down to the lobby. When we decided to take the stairs we got locked in the stairwell so we called for someone at the front desk and she asked us, “well who told you to take the stairs?” We got left in the stairwell for half an hour until our kids managed to find an exit through a door that led to housekeeping on the 14th floor and we found our way outside.

We booked this hotel as we went to the Maroon 5 concert at the arena. The hotel offered a free shuttle which was so much fun! The driver made it easy to find him after the show too. The hotel was so nice and the casino attached was just a bonus for us. There was a lot of construction in greektown but you could still walk around. There was a cute pizza by the slice place within walking distance that was perfect for late night munchies after the show. Will stay here again and again!
