Base Dingle was in a convenient, walkable location. The only issue would be parking; however, we lucked out both nights with parking right across the street in the tiny lot. There’s street parking all around. It’s really how lucky you are. I don’t know if they validate any type of municipal parking, but they should consider it. The rooms were very nice, with great comfy beds and lovely showers! The staff was very kind and helpful with advice on dinner suggestions. There was a market, maybe Spar?, right around the corner.

I was pleasantly shocked by the size of our room, with two very comfortable queen beds! I expected "basic" accomodations due to the hotel's name, but the room was on the luxurious side. The location in Dingle is perfect. Also, once the daily crowd subsided, parking across the street was available & very convenient.

The receptionist was the best part. She was so friendly and helpful. Room quite small, no fridge and the bathroom needed to be fixed. It felt quite dirty due to a leak and loose tile on the floor. It is in a great location to town. We still enjoyed our stay.

A taste of contemporary Kerry

Highly recommend Base for a short stay in Dingle. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, it’s perfectly located, and it’s great value. Everything feels new and modern but not sterile – there is a strong sense of local culture thanks to the lovely selection of Irish art around the place!
