Very good

The room was nice but we had the room 511 and it was just me and my mom who can’t lift heavy stuff so having to navigate all the luggage down the set of stairs and back up after getting off the elevator was a bit inconvenient. Thankfully there was a gentleman there upon our arrival who was cleaning the stairs and helped us. When we left I had to take two trips to get our luggage down so my mom wouldn’t struggle with lifting.
The property is very nicely converted and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was filling and plentiful, fresh and varied.
I had a lovely bedroom in the basement at the back of the property. Silent. The downside for my friends upstairs at the front of the property was being kept awake until 3.00 am by revellers in bars opposite. Book a room “ with no view”.
Top two things I care about for a stay— cleanliness and safety. The place was very safe. The cleanliness was pretty good. Older building, so there’s that. I would have given this place more stars but we had a room that was toward the street and it was noisy at night. They offered to move us to a back room but it didn’t have the right bed situation. The staff was amazing though and the breakfast was delish.
Excellent welcome. All staff very friendly, warm and helpful. Great breakfast. Super location

Great hotel and location the lady at breakfast was so pleasant & welcoming. Room was great and near everything needed to explore Dublin. You are near the nightclubs but we were at the back of the hotel so was fine.
It was alright. Clean common spaces and room. However, it got noisy on the street Saturday and a bit less on Sunday night. The room had bad light wiring and we couldn't turn turn the main light without turning off as well the reading lights. The matter gave us a bit of a stiff back. For those reasons I would say it is average. Not bad, not perfect. Cheap for the overall location and that was the main reason we booked it. Forgot to mention it is close to Airport express bus.
To be honest the only thing I didn’t like was the fact there was no AC. Some days in Dublin was very hot. So when we came back (the window was open), it was very hot in the room. But other than that this hotel is good for a few nights stay.
Good location, but the room did not have hot water. The bathroom sink drain plug was stuck. The padded headboard was ripped. Room was small and cramped. Carpets in hallway need to be updated. Staff was friendly and helpful, but this hotel needs updating.
Really great location, perfect for exploring the city. The room was very big and clean and had everything I needed. My only comment would be that there wasn't any secure place to store my luggage on my final day (after I'd checked out). The Dublin Express bus stop to/from the airport is also just around the corner which was really convenient
I’ve stayed here several times. The Dublin Express dropped you off down the street you can easily walk to st. Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street. The breakfast is lovely, staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. They just added a lift (elevator). I will be back and I always recommend this hotel for Dublin.
The rooms have clearly been recently redone to a high standard. The room we were in was not huge but were well sized with very high ceilings. The bathroom was was big with a large shower. Overall, it was perfect for our stay!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room didnt match the pictures or description and felt a little dated, but the beds were comortable and the location was great.
This hotel was cold, the street outside was loud, there were very few amenities, there was no lift so we walked 5 stories to our room. The bathroom had a shower only and the shower leaked water onto the floor. The sink was cracked. This was a poor stay and would not recommend. It was more like a hostel with a private bath.
Generally a nice hotel and value for money. We only paid £71per night as it not bust in January. Communal areas in hotel were a bit tatty and the water in the shower was quite as hot as I would have liked. Otherwise was all good.
