Service was exceptional. Dave was wonderful—he shared some great tips and made me feel completely at home. It felt like chatting with an old friend.
The room was lovely as well. I didn’t have any issues with noise. I must have been on the other side of the club, though I was on the 4th floor, just below The Sophie. There was some construction, but it was quite minimal considering the circumstances.
Being from New York, I’m used to constant horn honking, alarms, and the general white noise of city life—so it actually felt pretty still to me. (LOVE HOW NO ONE SEEMS TO HONK HERE. so refreshing!!! I was pleasantly surprised, especially since the listing mentioned possible noise and even provided earplugs.
If you’re staying in a city, you should always anticipate a bit of background sound—it’s just part of the experience.
Oh if you do come, bring a swimsuit and make sure to book some time at the pool and sauna. It was quite peaceful and lovely, and nice to have to oneself since the pool is quite small and laps are only a few strokes, but it felt good!
