We always like staying here. The beds a comfortable and the staff is very friendly. It’s easy walking to anywhere downtown. We liked the pool and hot tub but wish the hotel would let us use it earlier than 9:00 am and the towels are very thin but otherwise we really like staying there.

Wonderful Hotel

We loved our stay here. We were worried about the noise from the pool area, but we could not hear anything outside of the room. Our experience was great and would stay here again.

Rooms were supposed to be connecting.But they booked them wrong.so i got to hear the neighbors foul language like they were in my room at 11pm at night. Sausage patties for breakfast were always cold for some reason.Staff was perfect,cleaning was excellent our maid bless her.We didnt even know she cleaned we would leave an come back an room was clean.we did not have soap in showers staff brought it upsuper fast.over all great place 5 minute walk to train station great mexican food 2 minutes out the door.

The hotel staff were available, helpful, and friendly throughout the stay. The location is perfect. Even though it’s an older hotel, they keep it maintained nicely. Lighting in rooms could be better. I would definitely stay there again.

The stay was great...until it wasn't.

The hotel itself was very nice. The room was comfortable, the pool was fun, and the continental breakfast was the best I've had in any hotel. (Chocolate waffles!?) Sadly, the visit ended on a sour note. While we were trying to get ready to check out, the sink in our room started backing up with smelly brown sludge. We called the front desk who said they would send someone up immediately. No one came. Since that was the only sink in the room, it made getting ready there impossible. I had to finish getting ready in the car. When we had finished loading our bags and went to turn in our keys, we showed the lady at the desk the pictures of the sludge and reminded we had called down about this issue nearly an hour ago and no one ever came. When we left the room the sink was nearly full. The only response we got was, "oh, that isn't good. Sorry about that." Really? I've attached a photo of the sludge the first minute it started backing up. I didn't take pictures of the full sink, but it got even more dense and gross.

Perfect Stay in Durango!

Great hotel! We go to Durango at least once a year for the last 15 years and never found this gem. The rooms are super cozy and the breakfast was 👌. The dining space is a little small and can get very busy so be prepared to eat brrakfast early or in your room. Not a huge deal. The pool was super fun for the kids and the hot tub was wonderful after a day at Purgatory. Coffee station was kept clean and well stocked. Happy hour was every adults favorite part especially the comped drinks. This hotel is walking distance to everything downtown (Polar Express is 5min walk) and the Mexican restaurant 2 minutes away is great! Definitely recommend!
