It's recommended you book early, as there are only a few hotels in or close to Eads.

Lose yourself in the region's prairies, enjoy an afternoon of mountain biking, or just do the rounds of the attractions big and small. Eastern Plains is sure to please.

Everyone knows we Aussies are pretty chilled, so consider extending your stay and check out the Koshare Indian Museum and Otero Museum, which you'll find in La Junta, 85 kilometres to the southwest of Eads. If you'd like to spend a few nights in La Junta, be sure to check out the Hampton Inn La Junta and Holiday Inn Express. Or, you could stay in Stratton, 95 kilometres to the north of Eads, where you can choose from the Rodeway Inn Golden Prairie and Claremont Inn & Winery. The Stratton Community Building and Stratton Activity Center are amongst the more popular attractions to explore when visiting Stratton.

Get your fix of local sport with a journey to Lamar Speedway, which is 40 kilometres to the southeast of Eads. Book accommodation right near the action at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LAMAR or the Days Inn Lamar Co.
