This hotel is clean and very convenient. It's a short ride (less than 15min) on the complimentary hotel shuttle from the airport. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall with restaurant options and a grocery store. You can walk through the mall to the gondola to the Big Buddha. You can also walk through the mall to the train station to Disneyland or downtown Hong Kong. There is a beautiful park you can walk around across the street from the hotel. It felt very safe and there were many families out and sports teams practicing. The fitness center is large and nice. The pool is beautiful but note that it is closed during the winter season. We didn't eat the breakfast this time because we had to catch an early flight.

The Novotel staff are polite. The checkin was easy, quick and we appreciated the checkout time of 2pm as our flight is late. It’s difficult to find Novotel when you come out of the MTR. Take a lift to level 2 and it’s near Uni Glo. Very convenient location and shopping was fun here.

The hotel needs a major renovation. Tiredness was seen everywhere. The room was cramped with nowhere to sit other than the bed. There was only 1 very uncomfortable desk chair that has absolutely no cushion. The lighting was pathetic. It was so dark especially in the corridor.

Property is clean and modern, and the staff was superb, except the bus driver (who left 5 minutes early for the last pickup of the night, resulting in problems). Fortunately, the manager on duty fixed the issue.
