Absolutely superb value for money. Don’t be put off by the exterior of this property - the room was brilliant, clean and fantastic. Also the staff were really awesome and very attentive, caring and provided great customer service.

Great budget hotel

This hotel has some very unfair reviews, its a BUDGET hotel and as such I have reviewed it as that. Its a little dated and the checkin wasn't particularly welcoming but it was clean and tidy and my room had everything I needed. For £60 for the night for a twin room it was perfect. Bathroom clean and shower/bath good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Excellent proximity to the city centre

Cant give a full review,as was short stay from a delayed flight. Reception on arrival, was good, straight forward and helpful. The price, also good at £42 for edinburgh, Room basic and dated, but then you cant expect much for what youve paid They may have better rooms, For a stop over one night stay,it did the job.

Rooms are spacious but are quite tired looking, our room had very noisy floors so every time you walked they creaked loudly, on 1st floor do not sure if it would also annoy ground floor occupants. Bar very limited , staff cleaning draft pipes at 8pm so no draft available, not a very comfy bar area , no atmosphere. Room did have a fridge which is handy if staying longer and near Haymarket too. Stay was fine but rooms overpriced but all are when the rugby is on.

The staff were amazing. Not only did we get a surprise upgrade but we were also able to check in early. Thank you Fatima. We were also given a few biscuit etc freebies by the night shift receptionist (I wish I knew her name). A really nice hotel with absolutely lovely staff

The shinning

The rooms are extremely dates amd walling through the halls was giving the shining vibes. The room smelt very old and mouldy. Bathroom wasnt very clean. Couldnt even have a shower for our night out or in the morning as there was no hot water. Paid £89 for the night and tbh we would have been better booking a hostel. Front of desk were nice and friendly though being the only good thing about or stay there. Only giving one pillow also which are horrendous

The parking was £7.50 for 1 night. The water is luke warm not hot. The place is in need of a make over. The rooms were ok, bed was hard and could feel the springs. So all in all would not recomend. Pay a little extra and stay in a premium inn or travelodge.
