The location is great, as it is around the corner from the train station. The Royal Mile is merely steps away. Tour busses are close by. And the apartment was just as lovely as described. The property management were amazing when I realized I had left my phone behind and allowed me access back in to retrieve it. All-in-all, was a great experience! Highly recommend!

Great stay, beautiful apartment & very nice area close to everything. There’s no elevator so not for everyone, but it’s absolutely worth the climb up the stairs! Clean, spacious apartment with all the kitchen essentials you will need.

Apt was very nice. Being on the 5th floor was a bit warmer and not very easy to get up to with bags. Staff was very attentive with any needs we had. Location is very convenient for busses, trains, trams and of course the royal mile.

We had an excellent stay at Destiny Scotland Apartments. The room was in great shape, very clean, and with comfortable bed and amenities. Communication with the Destiny team was smooth and everything was setup before we arrive including access code for the building / apartment. Destiny runs a smooth operation. The location is outstanding. It sits very close to the Royal Mile, the train station, and the parks. I'll say it again. Location, Location, Location. The only downside of Destiny is that there is no lift/elevator. This can be a problem if you are on the upper floors.

Wonderful location

Our stay was wonderful! We had no trouble locating and accessing the apartment... the property even went above and beyond by calling us to let us know when the unit was ready a little earlier than expected. Location is phenomenal, everything was clean, and had everything we needed.the on-site laundry facility and baggage storage was a great bonus. Would stay again and recommend.

Great location

The location was excellent. Easy to access the train station and Royal Mile. But no lift. This was quite a haul up 4 flights of stairs with luggage! Clean and adequate otherwise.

Property is good, location is good. However, the checkin wasn’t pleasant. At last minute they ask for deposit (without it, they refuse to grand me the access). Even if this is a standard practice, why didn’t they mention this in the instruction email sent to me a day before? Instead, they have to do this to me at the last hour. They sent me a link to collect that money, my email server rejected the request. It looks too suspicious. I booked through Expedia, this was not mentioned when I book my stay nor in the checkin instruction a day before. One of sudden, they decide they want to charge me a deposit? I don’t feel very comfortable.

The location is amazing! Within walking distance of the train station and most of the local attractions. Laundry on site was really convenient. Room was well equipped. The only downside was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the tap in the kitchen would leak randomly and wake us up.

Destiny Scotland was fine, but the stairs. It was brutal carrying my luggage up four flights. There wasn't even a landing to unpack and carry half at a time. The luggage storage door was broken when I checked on it so I don't recommend that. The USB power is odd. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't even when the power switch is turned on. The team is responsive on the phone during work hours, but in the future, I'd prefer a stay with a lift and a front desk. Outside of that, the location was central to everything.

Excellent location. Lots of stairs and no lift. Luggage storage very handy. Excellent communication with destiny Scotland. Very clean apart from a few small bits, bathroom door should be wiped down as so close to sink etc. Overall an enjoyable stay and would go back

Location centrally located and easy to access from train/airport. Royal mile is nearby and plenty of dining and sightseeing options in walking distance. Loved not having to keep a key and easy access with code. Will def stay again!
