The room was hell of a lot smaller than expected when booking this room be aware it is a prison cell. No wardrobe no where to keep your stuff not even a bed side table. The bathroom was the size of an easy jet toilet on the plane with shower combined so expect to Brush your teeth whilst on the toilet or literally standing in the shower. One small mirror with a shelf big enough for perfume or a pencil. No bin in the room and had a tv the size of a A4 piece of paper which had no service on every channel. The temperature of the room is controlled by reception had to ask to cool down the room and was questioned why we found the room too hot. Yes this is a budget hotel and luckily we didn’t spend any time in the room but getting ready was difficult just something to be aware of

Room was clean but then again wasn't difficult to clean, room regarded as a double wasn't big enough for two people to even enter, l nearly fell over bed trying to enter room, the bathroom door hit the bed every time you tried to enter, step leading to bathroom was dangerous expected to either fall over it or for step to give way as it was moving, we decided that we were not prepared to stay in a room that was not fit for the purpose, neither my wife or myself were prepared to spend a night in a bed that you could only exit from one side, receptionist was polite but when l handed back keycards, l was asked if l had found another hotel as he is only an employee l decided not to burden him with our issues, suffice to say l will not use expedia again if the easy hotel is an example of their accommodation

Smallest rubbishiest room i've ever stayed in, cheap, terrible decor, chips out the walls, flooring needing upgraded. I knew it was cheap with Easy, but didnt expect so tiny you can't move either. Trying get ready in the tiny space was difficult, nowhere to put your stuff without crowding something else. The shower in the toilet felt like you were in a tiny motorhome shower with the small circular curtain literally butting against the toilet seat. The water when showering went everywhere in the tiniest toilet ever. The bed was comfy enough and I got a sleep, were fine, interacted with them for about 2 mins so difficult to not be, but never again. Even for that price.

The stairs were killer. 50 steps between each floor. Room was clean and comfortable,yet tiny.i had a room with a great view of the castle. The capsule that is the bathroom is quite an experience. I appreciated the multiple light switches in the room . Very nice to get everything tucked away before climbing under the covers,getting all warm and cozy and then be able to just reach up and turn off the room lights.

This property is located in one of the prime locations so technically you can access old town & new very easily. Public transportation is easily accessible too. Just be ready with the size of room it’s really tine otherwise everything is perfect. Staff at the property were really helpful and friendly.

To be honest, didn't like anything about it. It's more of a hostel than a hotel. We knew that the room would be small, but it shocked us at how small it actually was. Two people couldn't walk past each other in the same room. One of us had to sit on the bed while the other got dressed. The bathroom (if you can call it a bathroom!) was the smallest pod you've ever seen. When you brushed your teeth, your bottom opened the bathroom door. There was a yellow liquid coming from the shower drain when you washed your hands in the sink. The flooring was peeling, the windows were single glazing, so it was freezing and noisy. It's a very tired and run down building. We just didn't feel safe because it felt like a fire hazard. I suppose you get what you pay for in Edinburgh, but this was a joke, and not a funny one. Would never stay again and would definitely not recommend to anyone, not even an enemy.
