Great hotel for a short break. Centrally situated in pleasant area. Good quality continental breakfast included in price. Helpful/friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room and well furnished, although a tad on the small side. Modern shower/bathroom facilities. Good standard of housekeeping. Only gripe was second lift being out of action during our 3 day stay which led to some overlong waits to get to our room on the 5th floor.

It was such a fun place to stay that I almost didn’t want to share this gem!! Great location to see the best of Edinburgh. Rooms look exactly like the pics online. Loved their bar.

My room was beautiful on the top floor. Breakfast is outstanding: fresh, and a huge selection, something for everyone! The location is incredible for walking to museums, Waverly Train Station, excellent eateries and Old Town.

This hotel is well situated, close to everything but in a quiet spot. The tram from the airport stops nearby, making your arrival and departure easy. We arrived at 9:00am, tired after a long flight, and our room was ready. The room was small but comfortable; the bathroom was well designed with clear shower controls. The breakfast was great for a hotel buffet. Nitpicks: the coffee wasn't the best (from a machine), no tissues in the room, and only 1 USB port. Bring your adaptors... A lovely place altogether, with a very courteous staff.
