Had a room at the back of hotel facing scaffolding. Noisy when we arrived and noisy 1st thing in the morning too. Room itself was well appointed. Good tea/ coffee facilities, complimentary water and fhower was good

The room was nice and as advertised. The area in front of the hotel was dirty and poorly lit and the windows to our room opened to scaffolding that obstructed any view.

Great hotel, perfect location.

This is a top notch hotel. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and with attentive and friendly staff. Its very comfortable with nice touches and is perfectly located in the city. We will definitely be back.

Right across from Waverly station and backed onto the Royal Mile. Surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants too. A 5 minute stroll across the bridge and you're on Princes Street. Hotel is immaculate. Bar service was a bit scatty but couldnt fault anything else. This was our second time staying here and we will absolutely be returning. 5 stars 🌟

Although the location was perfect in regards to where the main attractions are especially as a solo traveler, the construction outside of the hotel was loud and was consistently happening from morning to night. Not only that but the construction employees were constantly in and out of the main lobby and the pathway to get to the main lobby to your hotel room.

We had 5 rooms in the hotel and whilst the rooms were clean, staff great, the building works next door was very abrasive. The staff did do their best to accommodate and did move one of our party to another room which was quieter but we felt like a notice email at time of booking informing us of the reality of the place would have been helpful. We also thought booking the rooms closer to the building works should be stopped as it is extremely loud. Otherwise, we couldnt fault anything and the staff was extremely apologetic and did their best to comp the issue
