Nice kitchen equipped for food prep and enjoyed the fruit, pastries and tea/coffee facilities. The bairn loved the iron bru and the water in the room fridge was great and very thoughtful. Free parking. Staff at check in was very attentive and helpful. Bed was comfortable and heating of the room was ample. Nearby tram stop was also a bonus. Nice place for overnight stay. Would return.

so many goodies for us in the room! Very close to tram stop. Wonderful host who helped us with our laundry. Cozy kitchen where we could help ourselves to goodies throughout the day and night. The host helped us with tourism sites and maps.

Amazing. Fully stocked fridge and kitchen with food all complimentary. Great location right next to the tram line. Only lost a star because of the extremely thin walls meaning we could hear everything from the adjoining room... and I mean everything!

The room was exactly as it looked in the pictures. Very clean, and great conditions. Also, we had breakfast included and it was fantastic! The staff was also very, very kind. The only bad thing, was that when we got there, the room smelled a bit like cigarettes, but after some hours of the window open, it was fine. But definitely I would a 100% recommend this place!

Staying at Pillars House was like home from home. So comfortable and clean. We didn't have breakfast, but we could have helped ourselves to toast, jams, fruit, etc.... which looked lovely. The location was perfect - such a lovely area - will definitely stay there again.

Craig is an excellent host and very welcoming. He spent quite some time explaining the area to me - restaurants and best routes to walk in Edinburgh. I loved my room! It had everything I needed and it’s so handy having the fridge with complimentary drinks available. The kitchen is so generous and a great addition for breakfast. You can cook your own meals as well. The tram into town and from the airport is a 2min walk from the property. I’d definitely stay here again! Thanks again, Craig!
