We’ve stayed at this property twice. It’s one of the best in Alicante, very relaxed, lovely staff and rooms. First class service. The pool is not the best, but I booked treatments for my wife and she thoroughly enjoyed. Will stay again.

Easter Break - 1 night

First time visiting Alicante. The Hospes Amérigo was excellent. From arrival to departure. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with our room which they resolved in minutes. My only flag would be the access to the shower. Anyone who has restricted mobility or is unsteady on their feet may struggle. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were extremely professional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They were helpful with our needs. The Cava from the front desk was excellent and a nice touch. Looking forward to returning one day

Hotel lovely. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Staff very attentive but did not act upon our issues very swiftly. Also still awaiting return of 100 euro securtity dep . Yet again having been promised an email today this has not happened. Previous stay prompted to return but after this visit would reconside a return.

The hotel was very good but not quite at the standard I’d expect at the price. A tap in the shower came off in my hand, some elements of the pool area were not on or working including the sauna being off. Who’s got the time to start it themselves. The breakfast service lacked much charm or enthusiasm and the offering was very average considering it cost an additional fee of around £20 per head. Whilst the room was very comfortable I would not choose this hotel again as I don’t feel it represented true luxury at the price. It was in a great location, front of house was good and the bar very reasonable. Next time I’ll just nip to the bar and try a different hotel.

Thought it was good but lacked the 5 star touch. More 4 than 5. Pool was tiny with only 4 lounges so once there was 4 people in the pool there was no chance to use it. The shower in the room was a bit dangerous with the hot water not regulated and climbing in and out over a bathtub that didn’t have any purpose. The breakfast was ok but again the danish pastry’s were stale. Just small things but for a 5 star property it should not be the case.
