Compare Ski Hotels in Eureka

Douglas checked us in. He was wonderful. He takes great pride in Carter House and it shows. We loved the uniqueness of this historic hotel. It was like taking a step back in time, in a good way. The extra touches like the complimentary breakfast that goes above and beyond by an amazing chef and a complimentary cocktail at a cool bar each night was a welcome reprieve. We also appreciated the proximity to the Redwood forest. Driving thru the Avenue of the Giants was incredible. We will be back!

The property is located in a perfect spot in old town Eureka there is plenty of restaurants and very convenient to department stores. The beds were super soft and I had everything that I needed

I love this, it is very unique and like a tropical paradise. Very clean, I even saw them turning out a room to clean it. Quiet sleep. Very nice full breakfast, scrambled eggs, waffles and pancakes, sweet rolls, and home fries etc, the only thing missing was biscuits and gravy. I highly recommend it. Very easy to get to and a few blocks to the ocean on highway 101.

Really enjoyed this historic property!

For the price, this place could use some work. I’ve spent less at a Hilton for much more value.

I love I can hear the frogs. Plus see the Bay!
