Living in Illinois where there’s no smoking everywhere, the smoke smell just entering the lobby was very overwhelming! It never crossed my mind that the law was different. The casino was wayyyyyy worse but I stuck it out. The hotel hallways carpeting was very dirty and stained and the shower area in our room had rust all around it. I do want to rave about staff! Every person we came in contact with was very friendly!

The hotel was very nice and clean. It was conveniently located to everything that we needed. We enjoyed being able to go down to the casino if we wanted to. The only issue that we had was after the first night we stayed. The lady cleaning our room must have been pulled away quickly. She only half way made the beds. She left a trash bag full of trash in the bathroom and it was not our trash. The only other issue was there was a car parked every day under the breezeway in front of the hotel in the same space. It never moved for 4 days. It rained the whole time we were there so being able to pull up under the breezeway would have been very nice. If others were there you were not able to. We did not understand why this car was there and was never asked to be moved.
