So we loved this hotel, but we noticed the second we got out of our car that it was in a pretty terrible neighborhood. We drove in looking at all the homeless people and asked each other if we were sure we wanted to stay, but we were all really tired and just wanted to get out of the car. When we walked after our yummy dinner the hotel a block and a half away, we all felt pretty nervous. It’s pretty dirty around the hotel outside and there were at least 10 to 20 homeless people within one block. It was quite sad, and we couldn’t believe how dumpy it was outside of a nice hotel. The second we stepped foot back in hotel, we felt safe, but thank god we packed our ear plugs!!! Super loud where we kept checking to see if the windows were open… They were closed Anyway, I don’t blame this hotel for the mess around the hotel, I blame Sacramento! Not really sure I even wanna stop there again until it has cleaned up. And I am a Californian…!
